Mission Work
With Rev. Lee, other dedicated team members including
over 400 native ministers currently expand the kingdom of God all
over Africa. By now 12 churches in Uganda, 322 in Kenya, 16 in Tanzania,
5 in Congo and 5 in Zambia (total 360 churches) have been planted
in both East and Central Africa (as of 1/1/2001) under the umbrella
of Glory Ministries, a church wing of EAPTC providing the fellowship
of the body of Christ to its member churches in Africa and elsewhere.
In addition to the mission works in Africa, EAPTC also participates
in reaching other parts of the world by supporting and cooperating
other ministries like Gospel For Asia (Asia), Miyoshi Bible Church
(Japan), Dandelion Community (South Korea), etc.
Church Construction
As of January 2001, 100 church constructions have
been completed. The cost of assisting construction of one medium-sized
church in rural areas of East Africa is approximately $500~$1,500.
With this amount, a local church can be assisted with enough numbers
of iron sheets that are often most useful in their construction
(e.g. roofing, walling, etc.).
Literature Ministry
A great many helpful Christian
literature and tracts are being printed and distributed all
over the world through 62 distribution points and other volunteers.
These distribution points represent and serve various regions and
communities of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Congo, Zambia, Ghana, Ethiopia,
South Africa, Ukraine and USA. Also, 4,000 Bibles and hymn books
have been distributed in Kenya and Uganda, along with hundreds of
thousands of gospel flyers enriching the souls of those who seek
Jesus.
